The beauty in the middle of the craziness 💗

I hope everyone is keeping safe. @omyogastudionz and I will look at another date for our workshop with @tarrynbellingham and @yogawithmarihalina as soon as things clear up. Just a little reminder to you and to me, let’s allow ourselves to feel frustrated for a moment, breathe and move through it. Don’t let that feeling become you. Let’s look for what is good. I know most of us will have kids all over us without much rest.
Personally, homeschooling the two boys while entertaining our busy little girl and trying not to disturb daddy’s zoom calls and work can sometimes test my patience!
But I try to keep on taking those micro moments to pause and remind myself that I’m in charge of how I view the world ✨ Watch movies with the kids, spend time outside, DANCE 💃🏻, colour in without checking our phones, bake, play…🤩 Have video calls with friends. The juggle is real but I promised myself not to let it overtake me.
Hope to see you all very soon, we’ll all deserve that retreat! ❤️ Xx

Spirituality has been making an interesting comeba

Spirituality has been making an interesting comeback in recent years! It’s always been around as we know but it’s definitely part of people’s vocabulary a lot more. But there is also quite a bit of confusion around it..
There is confusion as to how it can actually decrease stress.
Is it all a bit of fluffy material and isn’t really backed by science? My next guest speaker @tarrynbellingham will take us through this is more detail but more importantly she will give us practical tools and information that we can immediately use in our every day life. We will discuss: The long term effects of stress How to deal with stress triggers Top tips for adrenal support ❤️‍🩹 How to rewire our brain 🧠 Science based tips to reduce stress How to avoid energy draining activities or maybe energy vampires🧛‍♀️ 😉 And so much more!! P.S. I most certainly don’t look this calm throughout my day. But I try to find micro moments throughout the day to achieve calm and peace even in if it’s a little chaotic and challenging at times 😅

As mums, I know we all want to be the happiest, most alive, joyful selves not only for us but for our children and family as well. After all, such a big part of parenting is modelling. The challenge is though, in today’s fast pace, uber-connected world, we're rushing around, busily ticking off the to-do list, feeling guilty, beating ourselves up for not being 'perfect', listening to that incessant inner critic. We're feeling tired, overwhelmed and disconnected from our true selves, often with anxiety bubbling just under the surface. And unfortunately, we sometimes model exactly what we don’t want our children to become - stuck and not living in the present moment. That’s why I am so excited to introduce you to my next guest speaker @tarrynbellingham who will teach us how to rewrite our stress response, calm our nervous system and take charge of our life. Tarryn is a wellness keynote speaker, yoga and mindfulness teacher and reiki practitioner who loves to educate people about the impact of living in the “stress lane”. She teaches simple yet proven stress management strategies that have a profound impact on our well-being. She’s also recently started a new venture @genconscious along with her business partner - they run conscious kids workshops to help nurture the next generation. It’s such a beautiful initiative 💖 I also love the fact that she will speak about how spirituality ✨ and science 👩‍🔬 go hand in hand to help combat stress and anxiety. This is super interesting!!
