SPRING CLEANSE WITH YOGA AND NATUROPATHY WORKSHOP
Spring is the perfect time to clear the body and mind of imbalances and impurities accumulated over the winter months. It is the opportunity to revitalize from the inside out.
Time to spring clean your body!
Join Kylie Rook, Yoga instructor, and Nicola Lincoln, Naturopath and Medical Herbalist. Kylie focuses on Yoga Medicine and Chinese Medicine. Nicola is the founder of Halo Natural Health recently opened in St.Heliers. This two hour Workshop will be focusing on holistic ways to cleanse and detox with Yoga and Naturopathy.
In this detoxifying Workshop, we will focus on renewing our energy, purifying our body and clearing our minds. The first half of the Workshop will offer a 45 minute Yoga Practice, with a sequence focusing on Liver and gallbladder meridian lines. In Chinese medicine these are the organs responsible for the movement of Qi and detoxifying the body.
These postures are designed to increase flexibility, improve range of motion, stretch your muscles and wring out toxins from the inside out while cleansing your body & mind holistically. Modifications are offered to make the yoga class accessible to all levels.
The 2nd half of the workshop will offer a discussion on different ways to naturally detox our bodies and home environments. Learn about the use of herbs and minerals to detoxify and easy nutritional tips. All simple, quick and accessible practices that everyone can add to their routines and do from the comfort of their home.
Detox herbal tea, fresh fruit and crudites will be offered for all to enjoy.

Pregnant women or breastfeeding women:
Whilst it is not recommended to use detoxifying herbs during pregnancy and breast feeding, we will be discussing ways to improve digestion, which the liver is part of the digestive system, as well as how to reduce toxins in your home environment, leading to a healthy you, baby and home. Questions regarding best practices while pregnant will be welcome.
Yoga – modifications will be given to the poses.
